    ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — The pilot involved in the fatal crash of a small sightseeing plane in Alaska reported fog and rain in the area, but an investigator said Friday that it is too soon to say if weather was the cause of the accident. “You want to do a thorough investigation and it takes time to complete a thorough investigation,” National Transportation Safety Board investigator Brice Banning said.     Former Petersburg Medical Center Business Office Manager Ramona Thompson has accused PMC administration of violating the Alaska Whistleblower Act along with other serious infractions dealing with Medicare contracts and billing office errors that could cost PMC more than $3 million in fines.     A pod of 7 Orca whales, including a juvenile, hunted for salmon along a tide rip near Beacon Point last Sunday afternoon. The group later continued west along the Kupreanof shoreline.     I would like to thank the EMTs that responded to the 911 call in May when my husband needed help because he was barely breathing and unresponsive and turning blue. I am so thankful that they responded as fast as they did. Two police officers arrived first and began CPR on him right away and they did a great job. Police Officers Bruce Westre and Jared Popp kept my husband alive until the EMTs arrived and those few minutes were a big deal and was a huge part in saving him.
