    Deeply grateful To the Editor: On December 14 someone did an act of kindness that I will never forget. Someone bought me a round trip ticket to my home state to allow me to be there for my grandpa’s funeral, an event in which I had no intention of attending even though I had almost enough miles to pull it off.
