The Vikings had an outstanding weekend of boys basketball in Wrangell. Friday’s varsity game started with a first half where neither team really controlled the tempo of the game. An elderly man was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street at Gjoa and Nordic Drive on Tuesday night at about 4:40 p.m. EMT Dave Berg responded from his office at Viking Travel and summoned police and the ambulance to the scene.
