The Petersburg High School track and field team participated in the first official meet of the season in Ketchikan last weekend. The girls and boys team each finished in second place over all. Petersburg hosted and won the state's first co-ed vs. co-ed roller derby bout Saturday night, and "oh my gosh, it was so great," Devil's Club Co-Captain Rebecca Anderson said of the experience. The three-day tournament was held March 20-22 and featured five teams from Petersburg, Whitehorse and Juneau.
