Deeply grateful

To the Editor:

On December 14 someone did an act of kindness that I will never forget. Someone bought me a round trip ticket to my home state to allow me to be there for my grandpa’s funeral, an event in which I had no intention of attending even though I had almost enough miles to pull it off. I am still somewhat in shock This is something I did not ask for but it’s something that happened. Whomever is responsible for this please know that I am very thankful for this. I was finally able to have closure on that part of my life and also got to see my nephews open their Christmas...
