Honoring Irish roots on Saint Patty's Day

Petersburg locals gathered on a chilly Saturday afternoon to recognize St. Patrick's Day. Parade participants, mostly dressed in green, tossed russet potatoes and candies to the crowd along N. Nordic downtown. After the parade, participants visited with residents at Petersburg Medical Center’s Long Term Care.
