Bike Rodeo teaches safety first

The Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department and The Trading Union teamed up to host the Safety Bike Rodeo Saturday.

Safe Routes to School of the Alaska Department of Transportation had representatives on hand along with Reflectasaurus to ensure all in attendance received all safety information needed.

“We are hoping to make this a much larger event in the future,” Barry Morrison said. “Maybe we will add a carnival to it next year.”
