Christine Stewart, 49, appeared before Judge William Carey for a change of plea hearing on the charges of failure to appear and violation of a domestic violence restraining order. Stewart entered a plea of guilty to the violation charge and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended; $50 police training surcharge, $150 document surcharge with $100 suspended; $100 cost of counsel fee and one year probation.
