Pennies for Patients fundraiser total

To the Editor:

We have just received the grand total from our “Pennies for Patients” fundraising drive this spring, and are pleased to announce that Stedman Elementary students earned $1,240.41 to send to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to support ongoing cancer research. Way to go, Stedman Elementary students and the community of Petersburg. A big thanks to the Stedman Elementary student council for organizing this important fundraising activity in our school.
