Vikings place first in Little Norway Tourney

The Vikings took first place after a three-way tie for first place but took the tournament because its point spread had the widest margins overall.

Head coach Rick Brock said the tough tournament provided his team great experience because of the various styles of play the team went up against.

"Skyview was an athletic aggressive team," Brock said. "Metlakatla was a veteran, talented squad, and Cordova was very aggressive on the defensive end."

Thursday's game pitted the Vikings against Skyview where Petersburg was able to make their first win with a 58-36 score.
