Green grass and Mexican light

In celebration of her 40th year of painting, Beth Flor opened a show of big new paintings Friday night at Miele Gallery. The show featured her recognizable still life work that so effectively captures light and shadow and a series of local landscapes depicting the vivid greens of early summer in southeast Alaska.
