September 19, 1914 – Anthon Eckern, president of the Bank of Petersburg, is in Juneau attending to the incorporation of his bank under the laws of the Territory of Alaska. The bank has been conducted as a private banking institution heretofore.
The Bank of Petersburg is incorporated with a capital of $25,000. The officers are: Anthon Eckern, President; Jacob Johnson, vice-president; K. L. Steberg, cashier; T. S, Elsmore, assistant cashier, and Jacob Johnson, Anthon Eckern, Christian Wester, K. L. Stebrg and T. S. Elsmore, directors.
