Petersburg’s Market received a big boost in the form of an U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farmers Market Promotion Program Grant.
“It’s a really awesome opportunity for us to support as many businesses as possible,” Market Manager Chelsea Tremblay said.
The Market will use a portion of the roughly $26,000 two-year grant to help those interested in selling items locally get started, along with assisting micro businesses in growing.
