The Assembly agreed to send a letter to the Alaska Department of Transportation (ADOT) as part of the public comment period on the winter schedule that expresses concerns about the schedule’s ability to meet student travel and visitor’s needs.
“The schedule as proposed provides service to Petersburg, but will certainly have an effect on student travel and visitor traffic due to the length of time between trips to certain communities,” the letter reads.
