Ben Higgins took second in the 100- freestyle on Friday night.
The Petersburg High School swim team held its second home meet of the season last weekend, and they looked ready for Regions and rest. The team has been pushing hard to lower their times and they showed some wear from a long season this far.
"We were swimming very tired this weekend," said head coach Andy Carlisle. "We really hit the training hard last week."
