December 25, 1915 – At the council session on Monday evening it was decided to purchase fuel oil in bulk for use in the light engines, the oil to be pumped by the steamer delivering it from the dock to a storage tank at the power-house.

A communication from the Border Line Transportation Company to K. L. Steberg was read in which the company offers to deliver oil to a storage tank at the power-house at $1.80 and $1.90 per barrel.

The committee reported that 1,800 feet of pipe would be required to carry the oil from either dock to the power-house.
