The Alaska National Guard (ANG) armories in Petersburg and Wrangell are set to be repurposed. Steps are already being taken to achieve the repurposing effort in Wrangell and the process is slated to start next year in Petersburg, according to Kalei Rupp, director of communications for the Alaska Department of Military & Veterans’ Affairs (DMVA).
