Borough finance director Jody Tow recently had a small scare concerning the annual fish tax the borough receives from the state. The original figure the state gave Tow was $336,847, which would have been the lowest in 15 years, but after reaching out for confirmation she was told the figure was only half of what Petersburg would receive.
