The Petersburg Borough Assembly held the first reading of an ordinance designed to amend municipal code regarding the local improvement district (LID) process on Tuesday night. The program is aimed at taking advantage of the SECON asphalt plant while it’s in town by offering residents of select neighborhoods the opportunity to pay for their streets to be paved.
