The Rae C. Stedman Elementary spelling bee was held on February 14. The winners of the Elementary School bee are front row (l-r) Ella Kandoll, 3rd place; Elias Ward, 1st place; Anya Pawuk, 2nd place. Back row (l-r) Sue Paulsen, pronouncer and moderator and Principal Terri Toland. School winners are eligible for the state spelling bee on March 31 in Anchorage.
