August 17, 1917 – Included in the call for bids carrying mail on all steamboat or other power-boat routes, in the territory of Alaska is a new route (No. 78066) from Petersburg to Red Bluff Bay and way points. The route covers the points supplied by the Hogue & Tveten boats the last two years.
