December 14, 1917 The launch Redfish, with Captain Jack Fraizier in command, and William Carl acting as engineer, sailed last Friday for Seattle, where she will be overhauled during the winter and brought north early in the spring for use in connection with the Big Port Walter cannery of the Alaska Pacific Herring Company. The Redfish, which was recently purchased from Jack Hadland, is one of the real old-timers of Petersburg’s mosquito fleet, but is still a very staunch and reliable craft.
