To the Editor:
With tough economic times come difficult decisions. Some services may be reduced, we must stretch the dollars that we have, and in some cases, we might have to pay a little more to keep things going. That being said, the last group of people who should bear this increase in burden are the members of our elder community.
The proposed $100 fee assessed to seniors who want a tax exempt card is, for lack of better words, wrong. While there are those in the community who can afford to maintain a residence in town and a winter home south, there are many more who
