Wrestling team places fifth in Ketchikan

In their second meet of the season, the Petersburg wrestling team came in fifth place at the Ketchikan meet over the weekend.

“We had overall a better weekend than we had here,” said head coach Daniel Van Swearingen. “The guys that we brought wrestled tougher. We didn’t put ourselves in as many bad situations as we did here. Overall, I’d say our team is getting better as our season progresses.”
