At the wrestling state tournament in Anchorage over the weekend, Petersburg's Ruby Massin won the girls state championship in the 125-pound weight class, which marks the first state championship in wrestling for Petersburg in eight years and the first won in the girls tournament.
Massin won all four of her matches by pin. The first three matches were won within the first round.
