Prince of Wales State Troopers conducted a traffic stop in Klawock on a vehicle for expired registration on Jan. 22. During the course of the investigation, Troopers secured a Winchester 30-30 caliber rifle. A routine check in NCIC (National Crime Information Center) revealed the rifle had been reported as stolen from Bonner County, Idaho on April 13, 2000.
