Borough will purchase excavator as planned

A motion to rescind the assembly's previous approval of the purchase of a $179,250 excavator failed in a 6-1 vote during an assembly meeting last week.

At their May 6 meeting, the borough assembly approved the award of a request for proposals to NC Machinery for a used Caterpillar 320 excavator.
