September 26, 1919 Considerable work is being planned about the Standard Oil Plant within the next few weeks. A new garage is to be constructed next to the residence at the plant and the one ton truck is expected to arrive on one of the next boats. John Sales has been awarded a contract to repair the dock where piling was carried out last winter and fender piles will be driven as a protection against further injury. H. Matson the local painter, has just finished painting all the tanks and buildings at the oil station.
