A project is underway looking towards the establishment of a paper pulp mill at Thomas Bay, fifteen miles from Petersburg within the near future. During the coming summer there will be available in the forestry department for work in Alaska $75,000. Present plans provide that a substantial portion of this shall be used to open up trails into timber districts that may be used for paper making.
