The Harbors and Port Advisory Board discussed whether to advise the Petersburg Borough Assembly to purchase the Ocean Beauty production facility, tidelands, bunk house and warehouse at their meeting on Oct. 15, but the advisory board decided against the recommendation.
Borough Manager Steve Giesbrecht requested the harbor board consider the properties because Ocean Beauty Seafoods announced their warehouse, bunk house and plant facility were for sale. Giesbrecht said the prices seemed negotiable.
