Phyllis (Bright) Kimbal was born in a log cabin in Winder, Idaho to Charles Leland and Sarah (Kendall) Bright.
She worked as a Civil Service examiner, legal secretary, and a resource specialist for the Forest Service for four different national forests. Next to raising her family, her greatest joys came from her involvement in school activities at Preston High School where she was the Pep Club president and later was active as a member of the Bountiful Chapter of World Champion Sweet Adelines Chorus of Bountiful, Utah.
Phyllis married Jimmie Kimbal in the Logan Temple in 1953. They lived in many places throughout their 67 years of marriage including Petersburg, Alaska.
Phyllis is preceded in death by Jack and Sarah Bright (parents), Imogene Davis (sister), Arlene Larsen (sister).
She is survived by her husband Jimmie (Jim); and numerous other family members.
