Bishop Crimont returned from a trip to Petersburg on the steamer Jefferson, which arrived in port Thursday. He said that business conditions in Petersburg were excellent and that he believed “it was the richest little city of its size in the United States.” A Catholic Church will be built in Petersburg. Bishop Crimont, made arrangements and work will be started soon.
