The Petersburg High School volleyball team traveled to Metlakatla last weekend to compete in the South Seeding Tournament.
The team went 2-4, beating Skagway and Metlakatla at the host’s senior night game. The tournament was comprised of seven schools including all Double-A schools in the region and some Single-A schools which opted up.
It was a tough tournament according to Head Coach Jaime Cabral who said the team faced an injury on the last day of practice which forced the team to make adjustments.
