Superior Court Judge William Carey presided over the Petersburg District Court case of the State of Alaska v. Amber Elaine Manly. A guilty plea was entered by the defendant to two counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance with a sentence for the first count of 90 days jail with 90 days suspended and a suspended fine of $1,000, and, for the second count, 180 days jail with all but time served suspended and a suspended fine of $1,000. The defendant also entered a guilty plea to two counts of Violating Conditions of Release; for the first count the sentence was a $250 fine...
