During its meeting on August 1, the Petersburg Borough Assembly approved an ordinance in its first reading which would increase the purchasing power authorization limits to $10,000 for administrative officers of the borough and $75,000 for the borough manager.
All five assembly members present voted in favor of the ordinance while Mayor Mark Jensen and Assembly Member Thomas Fine-Walsh were excused.
