In his last leaps of the season, Rik Cumps soared high above the Palmer High School track and landed on top of the podium at the ASAA Division II State Championships last weekend.
The Petersburg High School junior placed first in both the long jump and the triple jump while fellow Vikings Elaina Enriquez, Kinley Lister, Anya Pawuk, Alexus Sakamoto-Quezon, and Erik Thynes pushed themselves to their limits at the meet.
