Superior Court Judge Katherine Lybrand presided over a change of plea proceeding in State of Alaska v. Gordon Lyons. The defendant entered a guilty plea to the charge of Assault 4 and was sentenced to 90 days jail with all but time served suspended, a fine of $1,500 with $1,000 suspended, police and jail surcharges, two years probation, orders not to consume or possess alcohol, orders to obtain a behavioral health evaluation, and have no contact with victim. The state has 90 days to file for restitution.
