PHS cross country builds momentum in Ketchikan

Petersburg High School's cross country team finished their regular season off with a bang last weekend during their final regular meet in Ketchikan.

With a series of strong races under their belt, the team has high expectations going into regionals next weekend, and they certainly have the results to back it up with this last race.

"It ended up being a really fast course because our kids ran tremendously. I mean, it was definitely our best race of the season," said head coach Casey Gates.

"I think we built a lot of momentum and there's a lot of positive energy."
