Wrestling wins big with a small team

Petersburg High School’s wrestling team fought hard, endured, and came out with a strong showing despite having a difficult week leading up to their second meet in Juneau last weekend.

Less than half of Petersburg’s already small wrestling squad was able to travel due to sickness, injuries, and other factors, but the four boys who made it up to Juneau all placed high in their brackets.

Angus Olsen came out on top as the champion of his weight class after a difficult match with a wrestler from Sitka, and Tanner Caulum and Jonas Anderson both were runner-ups in their events.
