PHS wrestling competes in Anchorage invitational

Petersburg High School's wrestling team faced off against competitors from all across the state at the Mountain City Wrestling Invitational in Anchorage last weekend.

Despite a large setback with weather conditions causing three team members to miss weigh-ins, Petersburg's four competing wrestlers each came out of the tournament with strong individual performances and highlights, and at the largest tournament in the state no less.

Kaden Duke-the team's highest finisher at the event-took fourth in his weight class, followed by Angus Olsen who placed fifth.
