Boat Parade brightens dark night

Community members watched along the shore as a steady stream of boats decorated in lights for the holidays made way through the narrows on Dec. 22 for the Petersburg Rotary Club's 2023 Lighted Boat Parade. The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter PIKE was voted best in show with its inflatable light-up polar bear at its stern and green Christmas tree of lights on its side - brightening the dark waters with reflections of red and green.
