December 28, 1923 – Work on the new Petersburg school building has been completed and the desks and equipment from the old building were moved this week. When school resumes on the 2nd of January it will be in the new building, which is second to none in Alaska and one of the finest north of Seattle. While the gymnasium was not erected this year on account of a shortage of funds, this will no doubt be added next year.
