Spring weather is warming up fast, and so is the Petersburg High School Baseball team.
The team is two weeks into their season and has been lucky enough to have had some earlier than usual practice time on the field, starting off their preparations in the sun as they get ready for their first games in early April.
"The winter stopped early for us and we've been on the field pretty much the whole season, which is very rare for us... We've been able to hop right [out there] and practice which has been incredible," said head coach Jim Engell.
