Petersburg's Devil Thumb Shooters competed in the Southeast Regional tournament in Juneau from Oct. 26-27. The fall season saw a record attendance of 19 athletes participating in the event due to the help of Hammer and Wikan's donated Alaska Airlines miles — allowing the team to travel to the tournament.
"They donated quite a few miles and that's one thing that helped us get that many athletes up there," said Devil Thumbs Shooter assistant coach Jake Slaven.
