Tariffs harmed Alaska seafood and timber exports

To the Editor:

With this week’s call to impose tariffs on all products coming into the United States from Canada, Mexico and China, it looks like we may find out pretty quickly how they work in making things more affordable here in Petersburg. Like Mexico paying for the wall, it’s simply not true that Americans won’t face some consequences.
