Petersburg Planning Commission voted on Jan. 15 to recommend that the borough assembly update zoning code to establish a new Marine Industrial Overlay zone, that would restrict uses of specific borough owned tidelands property -and the two recently sold parcels - in the Port Dock and Scow Bay areas for marine-industrial uses only.
