Petersburg's Elks Lodge continued their Easter tradition of hiding upwards of a thousand Easter eggs around Sandy Beach Park on Sunday morning. This year the lodge opted for plastic eggs which the participating children foraged in the park then redeemed for a quarter per egg. An estimated 150 community members turned out to participate, and a special thanks was extended to the Petersburg Rotary Club volunteers for their Sandy Beach cleanup event the day before.
